Savannah Smiles
Savannah Smiles is a non-profit organization that provides counseling and financial support to families who experience the loss of a child. During this time of unimaginable tragedy, Savannah Smiles assist families with final burial expenses, costs that are often unplanned for. In addition to supporting families after the loss of a child, Savannah Smiles prepares and delivers Thanksgiving food baskets to families nominated by local churches and charities, and provides toys to children who are in the hospital during the Christmas holidays.

RiverWorks Discovery
RiverWorks Discovery (RWD) is a national outreach education effort of the National River Center & Hall of Fame located at the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium. RWD is a coordinated effort which brings together the for-profit industry, community leaders, museums, nature centers, educators, and the general public in recognition of the role our rivers have played and will continue to play in our nation's future. Crescent Towing sponsors and hosts RiverWorks Discovery events throughout the year including the hosting of a Crescent Towing field trip day for local high schools in which students are able to tour tugboats, the Crescent Towing fleet, and the port of New Orleans fire and rescue boat.
