$1.6 million Awarded to Louisiana SmartPort Initiative

The U.S. Department of Commerce awarded the grant to The Water Institute of the Gulf for the development of a Lower Mississippi River SmartPort & Resilience Center. The Institute worked closely with the Port of New Orleans, IBM, and Crescent Towing during development.

Having gained experience in multiple facets of the industry, from shipyards and structural fitting to welding and pushboat deckhand, Robbie is well equipped for success in his current role.
